The Goods!!! :)

I shoot Canon and any time will have a variety of lenses along with a lot of other gear. But for now lets start with the must of what is in the Bag!

  • Canon r5

  • Canon 15-35mm 2.8 RF

  • Canon 70-200mm 2.8 EF

  • Canon 8-15mm EF Fisheye

  • Variety of ND and other filters

  • Lume cubes and Strobepro light block

  • 4 Batteries and memory cards are a must

  • Tripod (Manfrotto Bfree Carbon) and Platypod for when I want to shoot uber low!

For the nice to haves or for when I have an objective, I may or will have the following….. and will probably whine a bit about hauling these….

  • Canon 100-400mm 4.5 EF

  • Canon 300 2.8mm (it is really heavy) :(

  • Sigma 20mm prime 1.4 EF

For the Back Pack (or what I refer to as the “how can this thing be so heavy bag”), this is the endless pit some days as I want to have everything. I strongly urge you to consider each gram vs reward as my days do include upward of 50km at times and some days have a 3000m gain. So again we will start with the MUST haves!

  • Lupine Head Lamp with Spare Battery and Spare light

  • Garmin and Sat phone

  • First Aid Kit

  • Hand warmer bags from GTECH.

  • Full change of clothes, winter or summer

  • Extra windbreaker

  • Chocolate!!!!!!! And uhm Swedish fish….. sadly I love sweets…..

  • 24 hours of food, usually some protein bars or something that will fuel for a cold night if something happens.

And for the fun stuff…. if I can carry it or if there are objectives like skating in Ice Caves or kayaking in a Glacier river or whatever else we can imagine, from packrafts to blow up swans tubes to whatever product shots someone may want, they will be hiked in!
